Sudanese Consumers Protection Society (SCPS)

Yasir Merghani is the Secretary General of the Sudanese Consumers Protection Society (SCPS). Yasir is a member of Sudan’s National Consumers' Affairs Committee (COPOLCO) and the National Telecommunication Corporation’s Services and Complaints Committee. A pharmacist by profession, Yasir is a member of the Sudanese Pharmacists' Trade Union.

The SCPS handles thousands of consumer complaints every year and has been a leading voice in educating the community on consumer protection issues in Sudan since 1998.
